FAQ's

What is a triband lamp?

A triband lamp is also called a “tri-phosphor lamp” or a “prime color lamp”. Triband lamps produce “prime color white light” resulting in beautiful coloration and high level of clarity and add visual definition to any interior. Triband lamps do not waste energy in wavelengths humans do not respond to.

The color rendering capability and energy saving features render triband lamps the fluorescent lamps of choice.

How easy is to change my installation?

Extremely easy.  The lamps will work with your existing connectors and/or lamp holders.

The weight of the replacement lamps and their load requirement are identical to your original lamps.

What are the differences between the 35 and the 45 series lamps?

The 35 series (3500 K source) fluorescent lamps produce warm white light while the 45 series (4500 K source) produce cool white light.

Because of its warm light, the 35 series lamp complement incandescent lights. They are particularly desirable where high color rendering illumination is required.

The 4500 K source is best equated to daylight at noon on a mid-summer day. The 45 series lamps are used to produce a blue white illumination of nature. They render a cool, neat, and efficient appearance of cool white and are perfect for the executive office and any area where color matching is important.
